Getting to know us - a little bit about Randi

Updated: Sep 26, 2018

I’m 25, live in Denver and love running (surprise, surprise) 😉 I’ve been running on and off for 7 years but will be running my first marathon this December. Needless to say, I have my work cut out for me trying to chase Margaret up the mountains during the TransRockies Run next year 😂 I'll admit, I've always felt that my running is a very selfish thing that I do. I have always wanted to find a way to do some good with all the time I spend on myself and with all the miles I run. Meeting Margaret earlier this year answered my prayers. Together we formed Women of Running and started logging Charity Miles for young Connor. Our hearts felt the need to do more and the crazy idea to run our first ultra marathon was born. My hope for this is to make a difference in the lives of kiddos who maybe aren’t able to run or play, as well as bring more awareness to childhood cancers 🧡💛 I finally feel like my running really matters and can do good things. It would mean the world if you could support us on this wild ride!
